Painter and Decorator in Hinckley
Nick Hebden and his son Callum decorate homes and businesses across Hinckley: rooms, ceilings, halls, stairs and landings, wallpaper and exteriors. Over 32 years in the trade.
Careful decorating, and a tidy house every evening
Nick Hebden Painting Contractors is a family-run painter and decorator in Hinckley. Nick and his son Callum do the work themselves, from a single bedroom to every room in a bungalow, and from fresh plaster to fiddly gloss on spindles and radiators.
Customers mention the same things again and again: they turn up on time, cover everything properly, and sweep, hoover and clean up at the end of each day. As one customer put it, "it was a pleasure to have you in our house."
Painting and decorating services in Hinckley
Halls, stairs and landings
The hardest room in the house to decorate, and the one guests see first. Nick and Callum handle the height, the spindles and the banister so the whole stairway looks finished to a high standard.
Wallpaper and feature walls
Wallpaper stripped and new paper hung, from bold feature walls to papered ceilings and full murals. Patterns lined up properly, so the finished wall looks the way it did in the sample book.
Mist coats on new plaster
Freshly plastered walls and ceilings sealed with a mist coat, then finished in the colour you choose. Ideal after a new extension, a new kitchen or a re-skim.
Exterior painting
Outside walls, beams, soffits, fascias and front doors painted so the house looks cared for from the street. Reviews mention exteriors and outside beams done with the same care as the rooms inside.
Commercial decorating
Offices and commercial units painted with the minimum of disruption to your working day. Local businesses have used Nick for their own premises.

What customers say on Google
Nick and Callum were brilliant and professional. Arrived promptly everyday and an agreed time, fantastic neat painting work with tricky gloss, all areas were covered appropriately and all areas were swept, hoovered and cleaned each day. I would highly recommend Nick.
Nick and Cal have now decorated a room and the stairs and landing. Both needed a lot of prep and included papering a ceiling and putting up a mural. They did an excellent job. They were punctual, worked non stop and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend them.
Nick and Cal did an excellent job for us. Nick came round to quote us within 2 days of us enquiring and started work a few weeks later. They completed 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a full hallway, landing and stairs within less than 4 days including stripping and replacing wallpaper, tidying up damaged spots and painting ceilings, walls and woodwork. They left the house spotless when they left each day and the work all looks immaculate. We would absolutely recommend them. Thank you
Nick and his colleague painted our exterior, landing and bedroom. Did a fantastic and really thorough job, so happy with the finish of the walls, skirtings and radiators. Very conscientious with covering furniture, hoovering afterwards. Would highly recommend!
